BURY ME MUSLIM INC. is a nonprofit organization serving the ummah in the Washington Metropolitan area.
As-Sadaqat (Zakat) are only for the poor and those employed to collect (the funds); and to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined (towards Islam); and to free the captives; and for those in debt; and for Allahโs Cause, and for the wayfarer (a traveler who is cut off from everything); a duty imposed by Allah. And Allah is All Knower, All-Wise. (SURA 9:60)
Bury Me Muslim Inc. will establish a strong network with the Muslim ummah in the Washington Metropolitan area to perform workshops on all aspects of the Janazah; and provide handouts, which will include a Muslim identification card noting that the deceased is a Muslim and must not be embalmed. These workshops will also provide a clear understanding of complying with Qurโan and Sunnah for the Janazah; and stress the importance of being an active donor to this worthy cause, thereby guaranteeing recurring revenue to sustain and further expand the organization.
Maintaining a solid clientele of financial contributors will beย critical to our success. One hundred percent ofย Bury Me Muslimย revenue from individuals,ย Masjids, Muslim-ownedย businesses and other Believers interested in our goals within this endeavor will be used forย continuous operations. We anticipate that we will be able to manage our consumable expenses throughย the pursuit of in-kind donations from Muslim-owned businesses and individuals, and inexpensive means of purchasing bulk items, i.e., pre-packaged Kifans for deceased persons and cemetery plots.
We will assist all Muslims, as well as non-Muslim relatives of a deceased Muslim, throughout the Janazah process.
Our Vision
First
To assist in facilitating burial arrangements for the Muslim communities.
Second
To assure that the information regarding Janazah services are available to all Muslims and their families.
Third
To provide assistance to our fellow Muslims so that they may be buried in accordance with Qur’an and Sunnah, and to ultimately provide all aspects of the Janazah.
This is our duty and responsibility to stand in for them when they no longer can stand up.

That the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “These believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.”
So in our wakefulness regarding our brothers and sisters, we stand firm in the knowledge in the pain for them if they cannot be buried in time and in compliance with Qur’an and Hadith.
